This month we are featuring the SOPHISTICAT corset. This style is fantastically versatile - it can be worn under a nice suit, dress or blouse, giving definition to your body shape, thus allowing clothing to hang nicely. Wearing it under your favourite outfit can really give the boost we sometimes need to look great & feel confident. No-one but you will know the secret of how you have that super figure!
The SOPHISTICAT really comes into its own when used as a fasion top. It can be dressed-up or down, depending on where you're going. You can feel confident that your bust will be displayed to it's full potential whilst retaining ones dignity! The full cups on this style really do hold even the most unruly of bosoms! Not to mention the super-duper waist of your dreams. If you've never before worn a corset, you don't know what you're missing! Putting on a corset, beginning the process of tightening it, using the laces to pull in the waist & hips whilst pushing up the bust is the most fantastic feeling I can think of because it literally transforms the body into a shape you didn't know you had. The sexy feeling is like no other you'll experience in everyday clothes.
I thought I'd give a mention to the role a corset can play in the bedroom!! Your corset can be used to entice your lover in the bedroom, giving him/her a night to remember. A corset can give extreme pleasure to both men & women (not just women wear them!). The feeling of being tightened or indeed if you're the one 'pulling the strings' can bring immense joy & sensuality.
Why not wear your Corset out for that special meal or party, getting you both in the mood for the night ahead.
Of course, getting your partner to help you put on your corset and especially taking it off, all adds to the fun of it!
KAY's TOP TIPS
Back Panel - This fab panel can be ordered to do the job of hiding your skin behind the lacing. It gives the overall look of one complete garment for those not wishing to expose their back. The Panel is made up of a flap of the same material and is an optional extra at £15.
Corset Lenght - It's important to get the correct corset length as this can be the difference between a good fitting corset and a badly fitting one. The SOPHISTICAT is a medium length which means that if you are anywhere between 5'4" and 5'8" that's o.k. If, however, you are shorter or indeed taller, then we offer two other lengths to suit (these being the shorter Eternity and the Elegance for taller people). Height doesn't always determine torso length, so my tip will be to measure yourself along the front of your body (between the bust down to the hip line) to determine how long the corset will be on you. The SOPHISTICAT measures approx. 14.5" down the front (Eternity is 12.5" & Elegance is 17"). Also bear in mind that if you are a large lady (or gentleman), you may need a slightly longer corset to accommodate the excess which will be pushed down when the corset is tightened. By large, I mean around the size 18-24 mark.
